The Edward Foundation raised $759,000 at its 32nd annual gala, The Big Gig: Magnifique, on Sept. 24 at the Westin Lombard. Nearly 450 people attended the event, which was emceed by Alan Krashesky, ABC 7 Chicago weekday news anchor.
The gala is the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year and supports Edward Hospital programs and services that directly impact patients. A portion of event funds raised this year will help fund strategic upgrades across numerous hospital specialties, including oncology, cardiology, and behavioral health services at Linden Oaks.
The Edward Foundation was established in 1990 and has raised more than $54.5 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital’s community healthcare initiatives, invest in the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, recruit world-class medical professionals and deliver the highest quality care to almost 1.7 million patients within the area it serves.
