Angela Dea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated with her master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University-Chicago. Her clinical background includes providing individual counseling and teaching life skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness, depression, anxiety and history of trauma. Her style of counseling includes working collaboratively with each client as a partnership to assist them in a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment. Angela incorporates different treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Narrative and Mindfulness, understanding that each person has unique and individualized needs. Her therapeutic interests include working with adults of all abilities experiencing depression and anxiety, health related issues, life transitions, relationship difficulties and wellness and self-care issues.
