I believe in building a strong open relationship with patients, which allows for a patient centered treatment approach that is inclusive of their goals. I also enjoy educating patients about ways to live a healthy lifestyle while emphasizing the importance of preventive medicine. I cannot commend Dr. Hermes highly enough. The symptoms I described to the front desk people over the phone pushed them to find time on his schedule. He was prompt and thorough although the look on his face as he was assessing me told me this is not a simple visit. ...I don't think it overstatement that I may truly owe my life to him and thank him for his care and concern.

Overall fairly lackluster in experience. I usually feel like I'm dragging him through appointments as opposed to him taking charge in my care. Overall, I've been extremely disappointed in my experience at Edward's-Elmhurst now Endeavor and am only staying until I can find better providers at a different hospital system.
