Angela Labedz graduated from Aurora University with a Masters Degree in Social Work. As a licensed clinical social worker, they utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and holistic treatment approaches. Angela believes in utilizing a strength-based approach to help empower clients in their treatment and incorporates a mind-body approach to foster improving mental health and overall wellness. Angela specializes in working with middle aged adults and older adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and health related issues. In addition, Angela has experience working with the LGBTQ+ population, adults with chronic illness, and survivors of trauma, as well as providing psychoeducation and therapy in group settings. They strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for their clients, helping them achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
