Philosophy Of Care
Marcia graduated from Dominican University with a Master’s degree in social work and is a licensed clinical social worker. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy as well as a strengths-based and person-centered approach. She believes in collaborating with clients to help them reach their goals and tailoring the therapeutic approach to meet clients where they are.
Marcia works with adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relational difficulties, grief and loss, and trauma. Marcia also has experience working with couples facing infertility and pregnancy loss.
