Edward-Elmhurst Health provides free interpreter services for patients and families, including interpretation over the telephone, video remote interpreting and in person interpreters.

Don’t know where to start? Start with Eleanor, the Edward-Elmhurst Health virtual assistant.

Eleanor can be found on any page on this website to help guide you in Spanish:

  • Click on Eleanor (in the bottom right of your screen)
  • A chat box will appear
  • Change from "EN" to "ES" (in the top right of the chat box) OR type “Espanol” or “Spanish" (in the bottom of the chat box)
  • Type your message or question in Spanish
  • Eleanor will help direct you to your next step

Patient portal: MyChart®

MyChart® is your secure online patient portal that gives you direct online access to information from your electronic medical record. MyChart is available to patients of Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital and select Edward-Elmhurst Health affiliated physician practices. You can use MyChart to:

  • Schedule or request doctor appointments
  • View your health summary, test results and appointment history
  • Check in for your appointment to minimize wait times
  • Receive physician office appointment reminders
  • Request prescription renewals
  • Send and receive secure electronic messages with your doctor’s office
