Ongoing Addiction Recovery Services (O.A.R.S.) Clinic

The Ongoing Addiction Recovery Services (OARS) Clinic, previously known as the Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT), is designed for individuals seeking to overcome various substance use struggles, such as opioid or alcohol use. Our comprehensive approach includes the prescription of medications to help cravings, along with group therapy and case management to support recovery. The OARS Clinic also addresses other mental health related issues, with a multidisciplinary team of addiction psychiatrists, advanced nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, and administrative staff working together to help clients achieve their recovery goals.

Treatment approach and techniques

OARS clinic provides medications for substance use disorders including Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone), various anti-cravings medications, and on-site administration of injectable medications like Sublocade (buprenorphine), Brixadi (buprenorphine), and Vivitrol (naltrexone).

Furthermore, our prescribers are trained and comfortable with mental health medications (antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, etc.) allowing OARS clinic to effectively manage complex issues while minimizing the need for patients to have multiple providers at different locations.

In addition to medication support, the OARS clinic utilizes individual and group therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, life skills education/training), case management, and connections with supportive community-based organizations.
